about me

about me

currently

Enjoying Stanford, writing , reading , and working out with friends .

I'm taking time to choose what to work on next (as I have before, and surely will again). I'm particularly interested in neurotech, which has the potential to produce the most direct tool we have for reducing real suffering.

More than ever before, the difference between meaningful work and wasted motion lies in choosing the right problems. I hope to pick well.

previously

Co-founder and CTO @ Tilde Research

  • Reverse-engineered LLM internals to inform fundamentally better architectures and training.
  • Led engineering end-to-end: mech-interp tooling, pre/post-training, data systems at scale, and interactive launch sites.
  • At 19, raised $8M from Khosla Ventures , BCV, and researchers at OpenAI and Anthropic.

Co-founder @ Hazel

  • Deferred freshman year to build toward an AI real estate agent, starting with Siri for realtors (because I'd always wanted to make my mom's work easier).
  • At 17, raised $2M (backed by Pear VC  and others).

NLP research @ Stanford's Open Virtual Assistant Lab

  • Pre-ChatGPT LLM research on synthetic data generation, applied to building Noora (a platform helping people with autism improve social conversation).
  • First high-schooler to present to Stanford NLP Group  (and guest speak at a CS grad class).

occasionally

To keep my inner child happy, I play basketball, draw, and build Star Wars LEGOs. I have three big dogs (German Shepherd, Labrador, Greyhound) who I love very much.
